A car review, WHAT WHAT?!

This is what our driveway looks like right now. Oh the gloriousness of working for GM. Eric gets to try a 2015 Corvette Stingray convertible for a week. I took it out for a test drive last night to get ice cream. It took 20 minutes to come home...

There's a display in the windshield so you can keep your eyes on the road and still know your speed (necessary!!!!) It also tells you how many 'g's you pull in acceleration and turns.

This thing purrs. I'm not a car person, I swear I'm not but I just kind of melted when I hit the ignition button. And the responsiveness. I hit 90 with ease on a back road and it's so small and light it took forever to coast down down to the speed limit. You can do 0 to 60 in no time and I was SUPER afraid of going over the speed limit (aside from that one road) because I'm sure this car is a cop magnet. But oh so fun to drive.

My one complaint is it's a pain to get in and out of (First world problem, I know). And it's not made for fat people. I feel claustrophobic in the seat.

passed out child today. She was a pill. Really embracing the threenager she'll become in a month.

Playing at the splash pad yesterday.
